Crumb Bakehouse began in a family kitchen with a simple belief. Good baking takes time, care, and a deep respect for the craft. What started as a small, hands-on operation grew naturally through word of mouth and a commitment to doing things the right way.
Some of her earliest memories are tied to her dad James’s desserts. Especially his now-famous cheesecake, which remains a signature on our menu today.
She went on to study art, drawn to creativity, composition, and the way small details can transform an experience. When she returned to Crumb, Poppy brought that artistic flair with her.
Today, she blends her father’s classic techniques with a modern point of view. Refining flavors, elevating presentation, and continuing to evolve the bakery while honoring its roots.
